 uestionably one of the instigators of the 20th century musical revolution s
 et in motion by the Second Viennese School. Pierrot lunaire is based on 21 
 poems recited by a female voice (the Sprechgesang, a vocal technique betwee
 n singing and speaking), with a small group of musicians. Tonight’s concert
  is accompanied by the projection, for the very first time, of the work by 
 the French graphic designer Massin – a visual translation of the score that
  he started in 2000. The concert starts with three waltzes by Johann Straus
 s (junior) arranged by Schönberg, Berg and Webern for chamber orchestra wit
 h piano.</p>
